Love the build, hate the reveal - because builders know what it all looks like and where everything is, you move through the reveal way too fast. Happens all the time. We want to see everything in its place and have time to soak it all in! The reveal should be nothing short of a mini build tour video.

We insulated the whole van it was just done throughout the build so it didn’t fall down.

First of all, awesome build as always! I love how you guys always come up with new ideas and create very unique designs that stand out from other builds! One question: Is there a reason why you do not use a vapour barrier to prevent condensation buildup?

We have in the past, but have also found that they can trap moisture if they are not 100% sealed all the way around and it’s pretty difficult to get that on a van even if you are super meticulous. We also use thinsulate as insulation and it handles moisture very well and is meant for vehicle applications like this. We’ve removed panels and checked the van we’ve lived in for the past 3 years with the same system and have never had any moisture buildup issues.

We don’t currently because one of the best benefits of the shower is that you can make it in all different dimensions for your space! We use kerdi shower pans in the bottom and red guard followed by kerdi and then tile for the sides on top of the plywood. The curtain and rods are custom made!
