Since the second Liberian civil war and the Sierra Leonan civil war are very much intertwined with each other since Liberia's leader Charles Taylor had supported a coup in sierra Leone.
In modern times, Sierra leone still hasn’t recovered from the civil war, Liberia isn’t as bad fortunately (Still highly corrupt, rampant in poverty and still has a lot of health issues)

Personally agree as well, I think just from the basis of the both of them being founded by the idea of freed slaves is already something that makes them very distinctly unique to other African countries and even more interesting is how different they are when relating to that history
