Scars of Time - Chrono Cross Opening Theme Guitar Cover | Anton Betita

The intro sequence of Chrono Cross was one of the most amazing things I'd ever seen as a child. And the music that went along with it remains, to this day, one of my favorite musical pieces of all time.
Here's my fingerstyle interpretation of "Scars of Time" composed by Yasunori Mitsuda for Chrono Cross. Enjoy! :)

Still hard for me to play it all without making mistakes, but someday I'd like to record myselft and put it on KZbin (if Anton is okay with it). I still need to get a good mic though. This theme is so fun and "exhilarating" to play, never got tired of it :)

I didn't quite use the same approach as Anton though, that's why I'd like to record myself for you guys to let me know what you think. You're right about pushing oneself hard. If you deeply love a song/theme, you don't want your cover to sound half-baked or total trash.

It was close to xmas 1998. Close to my b day. 11 years old. Had all these sick phuckin games that honestly ended up going down in history as the best games ever. Anyways. Remember xplay? That show aired the trailer which played this theme. Immediately got my attention. Knew it was gonna be something special. I was right. Oh good idea, I need to get on that updated version... I don't really have a tab for this cover because this was all learned by ear at the time. I do have a music sheet for it now, though I feel like it's not mine to sell because I didn't write it. It's part of a Chrono Cross OST piano sheet book that I bought. (Yes, I'm using piano sheet to make guitar music lol)
