@@TheMuddatrucker It’s not an awful lot, but I’ve watched clips of him a while back being disrespectful to homeless people that were minding their own business and the guy was so polite to Charles and asked kindly not to film him but Charles was very blunt back. Also just the times Ive seen him chase down thieves that took a sandwich from Greggs or something I find a bit petty. Some of these people are probably absolutely desperate and I don’t think Greggs are suffering financially. In all, Charlie comes across like good people to me but just found him pestering the wrong people in the past.
@jamesjackson50202 жыл бұрын
@@Hungri_Ungi that was a bunch of kids that were stealing sandwiches from greggs..... If everyone else is going there and paying for it, why shouldn't they? Eating out is a privilege... If they can't afford it, budget, or visit a food bank... There's no way to justify stealing. You cannot encourage that or tolerate that on a small scale or it starts to make it acceptable and that transpires into people doing it at large scale..... If you just accept and even applaud kids robbing sandwiches from greggs, they think that's alright.... Then it's a bike... then it's a burglary....... If you just nod your head and think it's all alright to do that, you would be thinking twice, when it was YOUR HOUSE that is being targeted and you're struggling to sleep at night because you're scared it's going to happen again. Filming homeless people minding their business and being disrespectful..... Well, that's the nature of debate... People disagree with each other. I will never lose respect for someone just for disagreeing with me.... If you're holding onto a strict set of ideals that are 'your ideas of how things should or should not be'.... They aren't going to hold up against the unrelenting opposition of the world. Filming in public is not a crime- i think that's what charlie was trying to maintain... It's not inherently a disrespect for filming someone... If someone has an issue with being filmed, that's due to their own shame, insecurity, fear, guilt etc.... You do not have the right to be in public without being filmed.... That's just a fact... It's the same as walking down the street. You go up to anyone you like and say 'Hey! sorry! could you please not walk down this street?' and you would have no right to do that... saying 'hey can you not film me please?' is exactly the same... It's your LAWFUL RIGHT to do so
@Hungri_Ungi2 жыл бұрын
@@jamesjackson5020 That’s a fair point, I don’t condone the behaviour of petty theft but I also don’t agree that full on chasing them down a shopping centre with your camera is great either. I have seen what happens when you essentially legalise theft and don’t criminalise theft under a certain value. I’m sure it’s happening on places such as Chicago and the scenes are wild. But we don’t have the same level of that in the UK. I’d still never applaud it but you never know what people are going through and what leads them to desperate measures. It wasn’t that he was in disagreement with the homeless man, but when someone’s kind and polite and asks nicely to stop being filmed when they are clearly in a poor state, a good person would respect their privacy. Id understand if the person was rude and aggressive but this man was the polar opposite.
@jamesjackson50202 жыл бұрын
@@Hungri_Ungi Yeah I get that as well... I reckon charlie feels an obligation to film as youtuber is essentially his 'job'... So he's kind of got the 'i'm just doing my job, can you leave me alone' sort of mentality that we all have to some degree... It's just slightly more odd, because filming can be invasive .... There's definitely some questionable things happening in charlies vids on both sides, that's for defininte, but from an outside perspective it's continuously interesting to watch, whether I disagree with it or not... Charlie is like anyone you know.... They've done some obvious very good stuff, and some obviously very bad stuff, and others that are questionable and up for debate.... He hasn't crossed the line enough to make me stop watching, and whenever I see him in MCC i enjoy saying hello to him. He's been polite and courteous to me the few times i've met him. I also respect the daily effort- that would psychologically destroy so many weaker people- having so many comments that are disagreeing with you, and also seeing these people in person...So I try not to judge him, even if I disagree- he has to live life constantly looking over his shoulder, just because he makes these videos... We all like watching, but think about being in his position and his actions will make more sense

They accept anyone into uni to further their propaganda and they give you loans to get you in debt. There’s no excuse for anyone not to go, I didn’t even get 5 gcse’s or any A level and was accepted lol
