Davud, I know for a fact you had a different expectation regarding elephants and people riding them. But, to be practical, you need to also understand that those people are only riding them in order to control their behavior and not torturing them. The fact that you are inside a national park surrounded by wild animals and walking through it and then expect the elephants also free with you for a walk. That is not possible at all, as without those controllers those elephants won't obey anyone and may even crush those around themselves. You have to appreciate the fact that Tiger Tops provides this unique experience and also don't chain these lovely elephants in their cages. They are happier than you to be in the park and able to roam around, so we do understand your concern regarding them, but it is more for your safety than their enjoyment as you are inside an actual natural habitat of wild animals, who you need protection from regardless. I hope you enjoyed the Tiger Tops experience as it is I think one of the best hospitality business in Nepal with a unique experience. Anyways, love your videos and the way you enjoyed the each and every aspect of our country.

I think Davud has a soft corner for Elephant, that's why he does not want anybody to ride elephant!! On the other hand, we cannot control Giant elephant just by walking beside them!! it's not practical!!

BEST VIDEO YET DAVUD, you are now experiencing the real Nepal...and it was good to see you relax for a moment when you looked through the binoculars at the 2nd set of rhinos even though the walk was out if your comfort zone...as far as dangerous, don't worry it is more dangerous walking around many of the cities you have during your worldly travels, because your guide has all the bush knowledge that your missing to keep your behaviour non threatening to the wildlife....Keep up the variety and getting off the beaten path, this has kept your content refreshing and more interesting. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS.

These westerners put the idea in people that it is okay to ride a horse but not an elephant? First of all a horse is much smaller than an elephant so for an elephant carrying you is like nothing. Second different places in world used different animals to help them do their work. They used the animals available to them in the region. Westerns used horses to pull things and people from middle east used Camels and people from some Asian countries used elephants. So you can't go around saying it is okay ride a horse but not an elephant.

Wow Davud...amazing walk in the Chitwan National Park. In spite of your lifely chatter I could see that you were a bit scared of the rhinos. I was amused by the fact that your guide was keeping his voice low during the walk whilst you were happily asking him lots of questions in your booming voice 🤣🤣. Nice of them to prepare a makeshift bar for you after the long trek. An enjoyable long video Davud and I had to watch twice to finish it. Would have been nicer if you had captured the sundown. Thanks & enjoy the rest of your exploration...stay safe. 👍👍🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, Jam; you can understand the importance of them being there when you are only a few meters away from a rhino with a baby, haha. It was a great trip, even though I was initially very skeptical about the idea of 2 elephants being used for my pleasure.

@@Davud_Akh I love this video, no doubts about that. Really really loved it. It's awesome. Yeah when you're few meters from a rhino or a leopard we would really appreciate the importance of the elephant that's why it was there to guide you. I have been on a trip to Africa. It was awesome and almost similar but more wilder.. elephants are so so important when in times like that we really appreciate them. The riders on the elephants are actually your scouts. They have the high ground on the elephants than on foot. Having one in front and one in behind will give them a higher chance of spotting a wild animal before you. You wouldn’t want an element of surprise of a wild animal stalking you for about 10-15 minutes, tracking your move and pouncing on you. These elephants are very well taken care of. The elephants are wild animals first and foremost. If they spot danger, they’ll probably act out of instinct and behave, well, wild. You’re in a serious danger of getting trampled by them if they don’t have a rider controlling their behavior. It’s for the tourists safety.

Davud you need to chill! Gosh you look so tense walking thru the national park. It would have been good if you actually enjoyed the experience instead you ask "so approx. 1 hour it's going to be like this thru the jungle? It's going to be a long journey." There is an element of danger but trust the people you're with; they are there to look after you. It's not about the size of a person; you are bigger but your guide is skilled. The mahouts are with the elephants for your benefit. How else are you going to control them if they decide to roam freely? Also, mahouts and elephants share a special bond. You don't need to feel sorry for them. They look content. I also feel you spoke far too much which for me spoiled the video and the nonsense talk was hard to tolerate. Possibly you feel you need to talk because you are creating content? You are out seeing animals in their natural habitat, respect it by being quiet and if you must talk tone down your volume. Glad you ended up enjoying the experience once you saw the bar!

The people riding the elephant is there to control them which is harder by pulling them on a lease like a dog. In case of wild animals like tiger comes ur way they have the first aerial view and incase tigers try to attack any one of u the driver can easily control them to intimidate the tiger. In case the elephant isnt controlled by human the elephant might not be of much use. I can see u being upset by the people riding elephant but just take it as someone riding a horse my friend. Before they use to put 3to 4 in the back of elephant including the driver which is forbidden now like the guide said about 10 years ago. Also the wild chicken he talked about isnt really chicken its called ‘kalij pheasent’ if im not mistaken they are rare birds to see in the wild as they are from himalaya foothills and are really beautiful wild birds to see. Anyway hope u enjoy ur adventure out there my friend and keep safe and i wud def advice anyone to get a travel insurence…

You were talking a lot while doing jungle walk, wild animals are shy and they hide in the bush and when you keep talking you won’t get a chance to see them. It’s not a zoo that you can see it everywhere in every step, you gotta be calm and enjoy the bush walk. FYI those two people were guiding the elephants as they were not strapped around their body with anything. They were there for your safety, period!
