So Azu is correct; the mannequin in the episode is meant to reference “I feel fantastic” which featured a creepy robot singing a song. However, what most people don’t know is that the video wasn’t meant to be creepy. The video’s uploader created animatronics and wanted to sell some, so he decided to program them to sing some songs he made as part of a way to showcase their technological capabilities

The thing is, Zach Hadel and his friend Chris O'Neil (OneyPlays) have ALWAYS BEEN SUCH HUGE FANS OF THE NOSTALGIA CRITIC Like, they have made jokes mocking some of his stuff, but at the end of they day they've always loved his work, so it really adds to how amazing it was that they got to collaborate with him and literally get him on TV, this might be a huge huge opportunity for Doug Walker's career, he's made his own movies in the past, as amateurish as they might have been, so getting to give him such an opportunity must have been an honor for Zach and Michael

I'm starting to sense a trend with a couple of these episodes. If i remember correctly, the creators said that they're always going to have worms in the 2nd episode of every season and now the 4th episode of this season is a halloween episode, just like episode 4 of season 1. If my hunch is correct, the final episode of season 2 is going to be Christmas themed just like the finale of season 1. Either that or a character will die then come back to life. I'd like to believe in the former, but the latter kinda sounds more fun/interesting.
