Fun fact: The whole "creating life from an egg" thing is actually a somewhat obscure reference to these series of videos on KZbin where some Russian guy is trying to create a homunculus from a chicken egg by injecting his sperm into it. In one of the many vids, a small worm comes out that spits acid at him, and he responds by smashing it with a dictionary. He made a bunch of videos after that making a ton of the things before he sadly died of a heart attack. Its all obviously fake but definitely an interesting watch.

LOVE the rotoscope guy, he's a sketch comedy YTer name is Joel Haver. Two videos of his I'd recommend is "Lanky Kong listens to DK Rap for the first time" and the other is a collab on a different channel called "The Grinch Song Uncensored is BRUTAL" These videos nearly KILLED me they're so damn funny.

Yeah, it's Jared Fogle. A very dubious non-fictional person who was used as a marketing strategy by Subway. He would eat nothing but their $5 Footlongs to become fit (he was morbidly obese before). However, it was found that he's actually a child predator. Thus, he became a felon. In various forms of fictions, such as South Park and now Smiling Friends, he's depicted just as he is to sell a comedic bit: a child predator.

Excellent reaction as always! Love your reacts and input a lot in general, and SF is one of my very favorite shows being made today. Yeah this show is so filled with references, especially to KZbin content. One for this episode I didnt see anyone mention (though I may have just missed the comments) is the big guys fighting over the ham. Pretty sure its a reference to the Film Wave channel video about a "holiday ham." Zach Hadel (one of the makers of SF) talked about the video and channel at length on Oneyplays. "Where's my ham?? I put it right heeere!" 😂 Also pretty sure the segment was made by Cool 3D World who make similar... Avant-garde... Videos lol. So a multi faceted reference, maybe. Just fun stuff. Comedian Tom Segura was hired to play Jared’s loser brother in Subway commercials to market the less healthy sandwiches like the meatball sub. He shot commercials and everything for a new ad campaign, but then they switched out marketing executives and abandoned the campaign so it never saw the light of day. Graduated from restaurant school and cause' of Covid I couldn't work and even after Covid, most restaurants that would hire someone without like years of experience all closed up due to no customers under Covid so looking for a job has been so terrible that I'm literally just studying to get a profession change cause' of how ass the job economy is rn (luckily university and study is free in Sweden + I already have a guaranteed job after university thanks to a referral from a family member, all I need is to graduate and they'll hire me. Also thank fuck for how patient and understanding my family have been)
