I’m irritated with the fact that the old man in the van was laying there for over an hour and not once did she think of calling the police the second it occurred but instead waited until he left to take action. They’re the type to call the police once the predator has already taken someone’s life and is already driving off 😂

OH sweet sweet new episode of 'Being Scared'. I think this is one of the best narrators on. I enjoy listening to others, but Being Scared has great stories and excellent sound quality. There is another narrator who is good most of the time but sometimes I can't understand much of what is said because there is way too much bass in the recording and it's too 'boomy' sounding. But Being Scared is just great, no audio issues at all. And when he raises his voice or makes it sound like someone being threatening. I've just about jumped out of my skin a few times! I've got a couple of true (yep, they really are true) stories I need to write out and email him. Anyhoo, a truly great narrator and I'm glad I came across him a while back!

Thanks, Being Scared. I know this will make me Mr. Popular for sure, but I'm a police officer in a semi-major American city. We're seeing some fairly significant protests and rioting. We're working 12 hour days, and we have all days off and discretionary time off cancelled. I was supposed to be starting a week of vacation today, and had it cancelled. I'll have to wait a while to take the week I was going to take to travel and visit my family out of state. Every bit of rest and down time is extremely important to me during these times...
