Story #7 I carry a gun with me always. My mom has a 9mm with laser sight and she wouldn't have asked what he barbequed, she would've pulled her gun. In Georgia there is a very well known 10k race called The Peachtree Road Race held every July 4th. As a native I finally got into running and wanted to participate. I lived near Zoo Atlanta/Grant Park so was a good area to train. Looping around the entire park was about 3 to 3 1/2 miles with a very steep, long hill on one side. One day I got home, changed and prepared to drive to the park to run. I NEVER watch the news but happen to have it on. At around 3pm that day a woman was carjacked in the zoo parking lot. Now there are 2 police precincts near the park, one on a corner of the park. Yeah never ran there again. No where is truly safe people.
