Maharaja Ranjit Singh had a VAKIL (attorney) Mr Sohan Lal Suri who used to write daily diary of his darbar namely Umdat-Ut-Tawarikh.The real story as per Umdat-Ut-Tawarikh is as follow:Shah shuja-Ul-Mulk was imprisoned by Atta Mohammad Khan, Governer of kashmir.He was who tortured Shah and his family.Shah's wife Wafa Begum contacted Maharaja ranjit singh and plead for her husband shahs release and promissed to offer koh-i-noor in return.Maharaja ranjit after his findings ordered on the 6th day of Zil Hajj sambat 1869 (1812AD) to free shah and shah was brought to lahore.He was offered a Haveli known as Mubarak and rs 1000 cash for entertainment.Shah's family lived in the haveli with comfort. On the day of the Holi festival the same year Deewan Bhawani Dass, Munshi Karam Chand and Bhai ram singh met Shah's agents Haribulla Khan and Haifz-Ruh-Ullah to close the busness of the koh-i-noor.After long discussions the price of the diamond was set at 3 Lakh (300,000) advance and the territory of jagir yielding income of es 50,000 per annum. one of the amazing facts about Adnan is that he discusses events exactly as they are on timeline whereas people who debate him have a very generalized view of the history and are all over the timeline. Maharaja Ranjit Singh had a VAKIL (attorney) Mr Sohan Lal Suri who used to write daily diary of his darbar namely Umdat-Ut-Tawarikh.The real story as per Umdat-Ut-Tawarikh is as follow:Shah shuja-Ul-Mulk was imprisoned by Atta Mohammad Khan, Governer of kashmir.He was who tortured Shah and his family.Shah's wife Wafa Begum contacted Maharaja ranjit singh and plead for her husband shahs release and promissed to offer koh-i-noor in return.Maharaja ranjit after his findings ordered on the 6th day of Zil Hajj sambat 1869 (1812AD) to free shah and shah was brought to lahore.He was offered a Haveli known as Mubarak and rs 1000 cash for entertainment.Shah's family lived in the haveli with comfort. On the day of the Holi festival the same year Deewan Bhawani Dass, Munshi Karam Chand and Bhai ram singh met Shah's agents Haribulla Khan and Haifz-Ruh-Ullah to close the busness of the koh-i-noor.After long discussions the price of the diamond was set at 3 Lakh (300,000) advance and the territory of jagir yielding income of es 50,000 per annum. Shah had to handover koh-i-noor in 50 days.On 29th jamadi-ul-awwal (may 30, 1813) Fiqir-aziz-ud-din, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh and Jamadar Khushal Singh went to inform shah of expiry of 50 days.Shah then said."let mahraja come and have it". maharaja ranjit singh. certain chieftains and a army of 1000 foot soldersentered mubarak Haveli, located in the mochi Darwaz. Shah with folded gave ranjit singh the diamond and had a agreement written down purporting to non-interference with him and his descendants in future in regard to the jagir territory.Maharaja ranjit singh was happy at the sight and presented Shah with 20 rolls of shawls, brocade, Gulabadn and the like. Shah also presented two Doshalas and one turban to maharaja ranjit singh. The wisest judges declared the weight of the gem to be equal 42 Mashas. after this shah had very corrdial relationship with ranjit singh. he was deposted buy is brother in 1809 and he lived in punjab untill 1837.He regained his kingdom with the help of sikhs especially Genral Hari singh nalwa in 1839 hari singh nalwa was killed in this expedition. The koh-i-noor was purchased by ranjit singh it was neither snached,stoledn,surrenderd or gifted The autobiograpgh reffered to by the muslim guy is contested and most serious scholars of afghnistan belive it is false anyway the account of ranjit singh getting to koh-inoor through tourture should not be trusted ranjit singh had his flaws but disparaging ranjit singhs reputation through fake sourses through fake sourses is a old Brittish Motif

You can't just clump all "North Indians" into one group and call them Aryan. Every subcontinental person has indigenous Dravidian blood in them. In Punjab, different castes have different ethnic heritages. For instance, Jatts are predominantly Scythian with some Aryan-Dravidian, whereas Khatris are mostly Dravidian with some Aryan, and Dalits are pure Dravidian. This is why Jatts are physically much bigger, stronger, lighter and better looking of the lot. We are also lions at heart.
