What is the brand or mat you used for the tall grass? Great video thank you.

Just discovered your videos. Great. Question when you add ground cover over the matt do you add spray adhesive to hold it in place or will the ruin the paper or vinyl matt underneath thanks

I only add spray adhesive on vertical surfaces/mountains, but not on the flat surfaces. You can if you want. in certain areas though its impossible to do without getting it on other things. Static/friction pretty much holds it on flat areas.

Thanks for sharing with us. I think doing landscaping on a layout is the best part of building these models. After mixing the turf, under brush, bushes, etc. and when you spray it down with a glue mixture, will the grass mat buckle or discolor or will it stay flat and in place? Your layout looks great! Ron

The turf isn’t glued on. Just the bigger stuff like bushes and flowers and shrubs.

I was just reviewing your video from a year ago. I would like to ask you what you use for your road. Is it shingle material, acetate or a commercial road product? Thank you in advance. Very nice work.

Great video Sean! Do you spray with some sort of glue or adhesive to hold everything down? Please keep the videos coming!

This is a great question. I was going to ask the same thing. Looking forward to your reply Sean.

No, the turf just lays there. If you tried to spray anything on it, the force of the spray would blow it all around. Any type of wet glue would ruin it. It is just kind of held there with static. It really does not move. Like I said in the video, bigger things like bushes, shrubs, flowers, etc. would be glued down. I just put a glob of scenic glue (kind of a white glue by Woodland Scenic's) and push whatever it is into the glue. I also have a hot glue gun I use a lot to tack things down. Hope that helps!
