ScentLok BE:1 Fortress Suit Review

Ran this set this year and after putting it through its paces I was pretty impressed. With a good base layer it’s pretty warm and is easy to sit all day in.

Been using scent lock products for years, one thing I'd love to see is more burr resistant clothing. Thanks for the review.

The Voyage suit is definitely more burr resistant than the Fortress. Fleece is great for keeping you quiet and warm, but you're right that it picks up a lot of burrs.

It's not available directly through them, but their dealers have plenty of stock.

It dosent use thinsulate....it uses primoloft......big difference !

Hmmm🤔..I thought you said in your video about 7 months ago about the Fortress that it didn't have that crunchy wind proof and water proof liners in them..Those things get crunchy loud when temps drop and those frosty calm mornings.

I have the same concern. If the wind is over 25 mph, I’m probably not in the tree. I got busted at about 15 yards because of ever so slightly noisy windproof membrane.

How true to size the fortress fit? I'm 36 to 38 depending on blue jeans brand so will i need a xl for layers or the large be fine

They run a little bit on the big side, you should be fine with a Large.

The BE:1 series doesn't include an "early season" set of clothes. The lightweight "Reactor" gear in the new line is technically an insulating undergarment. But it would probably work in cool-warm temps between 50-70 degrees.

So since this suit will keep me really warm in the late season what underlayer garments do you recommend? Merino wool? I don't want to overdo it and wear too many underlayers underneath my fortress suit cause I possibly overheat

Bibs and jacket cost more than my bow. Unless they attract 200inch bucks im good.

Camp color looks awful. Scent lock w9th Elusion camp is absolutely the best camo it's real images Elusion camo
