It's a great smelling cologne, that is very well formulated. The only drawback is that it does smell "very 80's." But, if you are into old school fragrances, like we are, it's a cheap gem. In fact, it's my mom's favorite. I always make sure to wear it on her birthday.

I FINALLY broke down and ordered a bottle of Jaguar Green. I'm completely satisfied! I've been searching for what I like to imagine as "Dracula in a bottle" for a really long time... Something to wear especially for evening occasions. This one has it ALL. Every note that I love about the old favorites like Polo, Tsar, Lomani, Paco, Bogart, and even that real oldie, Eucris by Trumper. Fresh, dank, sweet, sour, smoky, resinous, bright, fruity, foul, mossy, woody, wet and dry... With a slight touch of incense. EXACTLY what I'd imagine The Count might have smelled like when "going out on the town"... Or, would that be "village"? Altogether one of the best bargains I've ever found... Jaguar cologne is an awesome smelling cologne ! One of my favorites. Can say how good this smells for the price. I wear it all the time. You would love Dior Eau sauvage Parfum if you like this. But this is one tenth the price. Dior smells more premium though. Just ordered some vintage. Hope it's better

Gr8 review. Always showing me stuff I’ve never heard of cuz department stores don’t sell these amazing super-manly scents anymore. A Dollerama in my town sells original fragrances for like $3/100ml. Haven’t given them a try, but dollar store fragrances would be an interesting video topic

This one is very strong it’s great since it’s only 10$, It’s like a less woodsy tsar not as deep. I love tsar as well I’m lucky to have a decent amount of it

I've got this one and agree with you about it. I've also got Jaguar Performance which I consider to be insipid and a poor performer. I've also got Jaguar Pace which is entirely more modern and without the character. For car companies I've got Mercedes Benz Intense which I feel is over rated. On me there are some violet leaf similarities to Farenheit at the start but don't last.

I just ordered some 🐆 body spray. I'm 51, over the last few years colonges & common brand body sprays only seem to last, linger maybe 1-2hr. Sometimes 20-30 min. 😐 This Jaguar men's colonge looks decent.

Guilty pleasure : I like to decant this type of fragrance in a 15 ml bottle, and add 5% of 3 essential oils of my choice (Fir, oakmoss, atlas cedar, lavender, etc.). I let it sits for 6 months, and the result is always interesting.

Great Review! Will definitely pick this one up. I see it all the time, but never pull the trigger. I Just got ARABIYAT Oud Al Layl, and let me tell you, this thing is an oakmoss bomb. If there is oud in it, I can't tell, but it is one of the cleanest, slightly soapy, green oakmoss scents that I have ever smelled. The sillage is enormous, and it lasts for 10-12 hrs on skin and much longer on clothes. Watch "Smelly Cat" and "Smells Good" review this, and you will get an idea of the scent. I sprayed 2 sprays on my t-shirt which was under a sweater, and when I got to work 45 min later, I had to take my tee shirt off and take it out to my car, because it was blasting like crazy. The only fragrance I have that has any similarity to it is a vintage Perry Ellis, but this one is so much better.

This one is dope. Jaguar's best by far. By the way, this was actually created by Thierry Wasser, the now inhouse perfumer for Guerlain. Fragrantica got that wrong, probably because Dominique Preysass created a lot of the other Jaguar scents, but more of the recent ones.

You know i recently almost went all in with obsession getting the edt along with its matching products but just before I pulled the trigger on it all I sampled it in Marshall’s from an opened box on the shelf and it sort of reminded me of a lot Egoiste by Chanel which I own but it was not as good so I decided to hold off based on similarities to something I had already. Since I have so many at this point I try make sure I really like it or know it won’t be very close to one I have. Hope that makes sense lol thank you for watching and commenting dude!

Jaguar for men is a steal -- i bought it alongside its sibling - Evolution ... that combo was dirt cheap so I went all for broke --- evolution not sure you will like it ... on your comment about car companies perfumes, well, in my case that will depend on which company is indeed making the perfume; for Jaguar & Bentley is Lalique, and for me Lalique equals quality

It's an Interesting retro fragrance. I would say it's a difficult and quite original scent. At first I didn't like it but after using it a few times I really loved it! It's very cheap but it doesn't smell inexpensive at all, at least to me. To me it's very basilic and forest-green. Love it!

I had a bottle of this juice at the beginning of 1990; if I remember the cap was wood (made of wood), and the scent was really strong and kind of mature fragrance, I liked it but I didn't get it again as it was not exactly on my line although I enjoyed the time I was using it.

Yes I have a bottle of aftershave that has the wooden cap, I used a lot of the Eau de toilette spray but I have not reached for this in a while. It’s very green and lasts long on me even in its current formula. Eventually I got hints of vanilla which i was not crazy about but over all its a good scent. I read the perfumer for this was actually Thierry Wasser, famous for being the house perfumer for Guerlain. Maybe he did the original and the other fellow did the version with the metal cap.

I just picked this up, and while I like it, I do feel it is similar to a few other fragrances I have that cover the same ground: pour lui, one man show, quorum, Halston 1-12. Good review

I just sprayed one man show on one hand and jaguar on the other. While there are similarities, oms is quite a bit stronger and sharper. I find oms challenging to wear anywhere there are other people for that reason. Haha. Jaguar just might be the perfect scent for someone looking for something similar but less “offensive”.

It does not resemble Polo green at all to my nose. Polo has a lot more woods and patchouli. The opening reminds me of Tsar, and after about 10-15 minutes it reminds me of Pour Lui. It is quite green, and quite soapy. I think is most closely resembles Bowling Green, especially in the dry down - spicy and soapy. I picked it up for about $14 bucks at Burlington last week. It's worth it if you like 80's fragrances.

i have this one. To me it is not a green scent, although it is in a green bottle. I think it would be more appropriate if it was in a white and orange striped bottle because it smells kind of like Barbasol shaving cream. Never got any compliments on this one, but then i would wear only 2 sprays because i thought it was so strong. You say you wear 4 or 5 sprays?

Love this one. wish it had better performance , its certainly reformulated as I tested it about 5 years ago and it was nuclear.. I bought it for my father for Christmas, but he passed away before he opened it during covid ( He was a Polo Sport, Cacherel Pour homme, Cerutti 1881 and Giorgio Beverly Hills man) .. So I always wear this in his honor and in his memory ..Try and hunt out the vintage.. it was insanely strong from what I remember

Well dude... Seriously. I can not thank you enough. Wow wow wow. This is definitely my new daily scent. This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. Just a clean fresh green fragrance. I feel like everything in this field of fragrances dries down on me so dark. this is just bright. soapy clean bright. On the opening I get a very very strong vibe of aqua velva. Tsar is one of my all time favorites when it comes to green scents I have a ton of it. And Jaguar was close enough it is a great cheap alternative that is still being made. Mercedes and Bentley make quality stuff. Most of the others are trash. If you like Dior Fahrenheit you would love Mercedes Benz Intense. It's a slightly freshened up Farenheit

This is the only fragrance in the world that repulsed me. It smells like jaguar urine. I was mad at the Jaguar company that I smelled it, let allone bought it blindly. I can see somebody in the street or in a shopping mall getting punched in the face for wearing it, and overspraying this fragrance and going into the crown I would clasify as a terrorist attack.
