Yeah I haven't been to a goodwill in like 10 years, it's always disappointing! Only chain I shop at is ARC because they have 50% off everything on saturdays, but I usually go to the small charity thrifts 👌😌

i bought 2 basic tanks from good will for $5 each. i went to walmart today and saw that those same exact tanks were $2.50 each 💀 goodwill literally charged me double of what those tanks would’ve cost me brand new. im so fed up with goodwill scamming people

They are a charity shop- they get every thing they have for free and they’re supposed to be affordable so us who are struggling financially can afford clothes for our families. It sucks that they are doing this. Some of us only have been able to get clothes this way and now all of the priced are going up so much and I don’t understand why. And honestly it’s starting to rub me the wrong way that a lot of these rich influencers are shopping there to be trendy- like I can’t imagine that helps the affordability for us poor folk

That's untrue, I've found some beautiful clothes at the thrift store, you just have to look. Just picked up a winter jacket (Jessica Simpson brand) for less than $20 and looks brand new, retails for close to $200 when I looked it up. But there is lots of junk to look through to find the good stuff for sure
