Isn't it generally a bad idea to remove all of the strings at once? Have to keep tension on the neck so it doesn't warp I thought

No. Humidity changes may make it movea little. That's why they have truss rods

Do you know, or can you check the Floyd special block size? I will be ordering a Gotoh 1996t, but I don't have the guitar around at the moment to check. Hoping to get a 36mm in with cover clearance

saw this guitar on offer up for 450 but with "wiring problems" and no strings. i appreciate the video, do you think i should give it a shot?

Man if the sustanic is not the problem and it’s the volume or EMG pickup wires with the issue I’d say get it! if your comfortable with wiring guitars but if the sustanic is the issue id say it’s ganna be a headache to get that working Man cus if dealt with fixing those things and it’s a nightmare but doable just make sure you have a whole weekend to it and have patience 😂

Yeah you’d expect something like that for the price range but it’s just a special. Even with the sun valley super shredder I just reviewed it comes with a Floyd rose special “hot rod exclusive” but it’s just a few parts that have been upgraded for that trem
