Sure, but those demos are high gain, one position, and just 100101101101111. Then they're like, "uh yeah, so you can really see the versatility of tone and playability." I'd actually prefer watching someone demo a guitar via multiple styles. What's more boring than having a guitar that's usable for one style?

The pickups are actually not muddy. They are very hot and articulate. His amplifier and shitty eq'ing is what destroyed the tone. I have this guitar and it fucking slays!

Gotta love the "metal" crowd thinking all reviews of 7 strings have to be about metal exclusively. And not just any metal, djent, and even then the shittiest imaginable djent using only one string. Imagine any review of a 6 string only using 1 string because thats the music the guitar was made for. What a bunch of bullshit. Because of this crowd its really hard finding a decent 7 string which isn't a baritone or made for "metal". How about you guys comment after fucking puberty fades away. I went into a guitar center last month and played both of them and as someone who has always bought Ibanez, schecter really nailed every aspect with this guitar and made a case to start buying them more. It's probably the best thing schecter had ever put out honestly

I want a versitile 7 String which i can play in all sorts of styles but ofc also Metal and djenty stuff. How is the Neck compared to Ibanez? I only have Ibanez Guitar and Basses and i really like the shape of the Neck. Whould be nice if you chould give me advice.

@@FynnFTW they sound fairly versatile. I now own an axion label and still would prefer the schecter feelwise but tone isn't as good. Only mod I'd suggest is swapping pickups but still good for the price for sure!

Is it like really noticable and a huge deal or just slightly? i played the Axiom shorty through a kind of a test station type of Headphone amp at my store. You can tell its very detailed in high gain but i ratter have a overall good sound then a even better metal and less good less gain sound =) Thx for the time

You play that tone on a telecaster so the honk and treble cuts through and makes up for the chunk of the amp. This guitar is too round and thick sounding for that type of tone. It would need a more shred like distortion to sound tighter and showcase any strengths it may have. High gain distortion is probly the only tone that would suit this guitar. It's like this video is racist against metal. 4:40, dear god..... And so much bots, stop it, stop it, stop it!

Is it just me or do the pick ups sound pretty crusty? Some people like that tone but in the middle position there's almost no low end and it almost sounds way too hot. Maybe it's just the amp they ran it through but it's not a good way to show off the guitar. It sounds like Doo Doo

Pickups arent the best, i own this guitar. And they are really noisey. The split to single is alot noisier than my other guitar that have single coil pickups Even wuth a noisegate the pickups are very noisey and have too much bass, i plan to switch them out
