Strings are hybrid. I got Svss III and a month later the seafoam green. Schecter makes awesome guitars what ever lrice point.

The SVSS is my 1st Schecter too. Its my fav guit. Simply amazing guitar for an amazing price. I have the sea foam green... i feel its more a baby baby blue but who cares. Its a sick guitar!!

The first SVSS I played was a sea foam green, which is really some sort of blue like you said. Its an awesome color though. I didn't plug it into an amp however. I really didn't have plans to get another guitar at the time but I could't get over the feeling of the neck. A few months later I ended up ordering mine online because they didn't have the other colors at the store. Anyway mine is Matte Black and I love it. I love the sea foam green and wonder sometimes if I should have gotten that color.

Larry Riker HA!! Us guitarists are a weird bunch...i wonder every day if i shouldve went with the matte black or lambo green. I love matte black but was trying to b a little different for once. I think im gna ask for another SVSS for Christmas from the wifey. Im gna go with the Lambo Orange. All my other guitars are all regular plain old solid colors...except for my Midnight Wine MIM Strat... i recently put some YJM Fury Duncans in it. All i gotta say is DAMN!!!! How long does the battery last? I usually play 3 times a week for one or two hours.

heber mendoza The official answer from EMG is 1500 hours in a 2 pickup guitar. The key to long battery life is to unplug the guitar cord from the guitar when it’s not being played. Leaving the cord plugged in when the guitar is not in use kills the battery pretty quickly.

heber mendoza I have another video about this guitar. Actually 2 other videos about it. I love this guitar. I have noticed some swings in the weight. I played one at GC and it was heavy and I liked. Mine is light. I don’t like the strings that come on it they felt like 8s or cheap. I changed to 9s and tightened up the Floyd springs. It’s sounds great and stays in tune. Versatile as well.

yep...actually I want to buy this guitar cause it is so versatile. I like playing heavy metal as well as many other music styles. I was doubtful because of the battery lifetime, but I think it will last more than 6 months. The Jackson x series kex is also a very good-looking guitar, but the pickups are not good enough for versatil styles. I hope this schecter makes me happy. :-)
