If you cut a 100" measuring stick two guys could be working instead of standing around holding a measuring tape.Some nice looking wood should make for great firewood.
@smorefirewood11 ай бұрын
Black birch makes super nice firewood. as does yellow and gray birch. not so much with white birch wooo

Close enough for a Roadside Logging video. Luv these out in the field ones. Does the bark on this birch have the same type of “oily” bark as the white birch ? Thnx… 🤙🏻

Never heard of black birch. Short folks on bucket would work lot better than tongs, but some like creating work.......

I don't have Black Birch in my area. Do they ever get to be big trees? Did some kinda bug or disease kill all these off? Or are they just a shorter life span type of tree like a Cherry? Nice smooth operation getting them out of the woods!👍

Sometimes for me traction works better with some weight on the driven axle. Like some logs in the trunk or water in the tires . :)
@iffykidmn817011 ай бұрын
some of those high stumps cut into firewood length perhaps for Gator weight.😉
