Question: According to the application instruction page, originals and photocopies of all the supporting documents need to be submitted: 1) green card - do you leave the actual green card in the application package to be sent? Or just a photocopy of it? 2) for bank statements, do you provide the original printed copies, and then duplicated photocopies of these?

We didn’t send the documents via mail, we personally submitted the photocopy of all the documents at the VFS global, NYC and carried all the original along with us. For more clarity, I would suggest to check with the visa center where you are going to mail the documents. Even for bank statements we submitted the printouts.

1)We too had so much difficulty in finding Schengen visa format photos, after searching we finally found out a studio in nyc which provided us the photo we needed. 2)The application was online, just the signature was handwritten. 3) As far as we know NOC is sufficient as they didn’t ask for the employment contract for the last 2 instances when we applied the visa.

Thanks ! Pay slips are needed only when you are employed. Also, as per our knowledge, it does not matter for how many entries you have applied for , just that you would have to provide the plan for entering the schengen are multiple times.
