This was a helpful video. Thanks for doing this. In the visa application, there was a section 'Entry permit' - Fill out the following fields if you have an entry permit issued by a third country outside the Schengen area and if you visit this country during your trip. Do you know what to fill here? There was another section asking for residence permit number. Can we give the visa number from the stamped page on passport?

Hello, thank you for watching! Here are my answers - 1. Entry Permit number is only required if it is applicable. It was not in my case and I don’t think it will apply to Indian citizens with H visas in the US (generally speaking), so I left it blank. 2. For Residence Permit field, it also says “or equivalent”, so you can fill out your I797A info. I just checked. I had filled out my I797A info since it is considered our immigration status document. Hope this helps!

thanks for the amazing video. here is my question... I am going on a medical conference. i have the invitation letter. Question: --Can i not use my own health insurance to show proof of travel insurance? my blue cross blue shield covers me everywhere. --Is air travel itinerary mandatory? --Can I use my H1B stamp (valid) instead of I 797? thanks.

@@Muawiyah7866 Hi, here’s what I think you should attach to cover all your bases - 1. A letter from Blue Cross that specifically states that it is covering you in that particular country. It should also specify the amount of coverage. Make sure that the amount matches what that country requires. 2. Itinerary itself is not mandatory but booking confirmation is. I still attach the itinerary and purpose of travel statement to be completely transparent. 3. H1B is a visa but I-797 is considered your immigration/work authorization document. When in doubt, attach both. That is what I did both times I applied for a Schengen visa. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching!

@ One last question,,, the application i have doesn’t have any place to paste my photo……. Will they take photo during biometrics? Or should i still take one with me to the interview

@ To my recollection, I brought a photo with me even at my in-person appointment. I’d suggest you take 2 photos with you to avoid unnecessary delays.

@levelupwithanisha Thabk you for the info. Can you please let me know which Credit Card did you apply that allowed you to book the air tickets with the miles and also allowed you to get miles back if the tickets are cancelled.
@LevelUpWithAnisha12 күн бұрын
@@hydlex7659 Hi, I used more than one credit cards to collect points to book my tickets. I transferred my points to the airline to book. They do reinstate miles if you cancel, but in many cases, they will charge you a fee ranging from $50-$200 which really depends on the airline’s award ticket policy. So, it does come with some risk in case your visa is not approved. Hope this helps!
