I made my own passive. I used a rotary switch so I can have six inputs and then three outputs. For the volume I used an alps blue velvet pot but I put a dpdt switch inline so I can bypass the volume. Of course I used good rca jacks and silver plated copper wire. I like it so much because it offers me so many options with sources,amps,and subs too.

I did the same thing, using the Schiit SYS as an input switch and volume control for the Dynakit ST70 -- perfect, easy solution!

You know, I always look for your new videos on a way-too-regular basis, but man you crack open more questions than Buddha playing basketball. Keep on, amigo!!

Too bad it is always out of stock in the UK. I wish there were more Schiit dealers in Europe.

This is off subject, was wondering if you still like the First Watt amps for the Forte IVs? I have to send in my go to amp the Primaluna EVO 400 for repairs and don’t have a spare amp so the First Watt Sit-4 should be available soon, was thinking on getting one while my EVO400 is away and using the Sit-4 for my go to spare..what do you think…
@drde40108 ай бұрын
Wow I would consider that more than a spare. I’m sure you would love it.

The best upgrade I have done so far with my system was getting rid of my AT-LP120. I got rid of the phonostage as well and upgraded the cartridge BUT it still was never a good turntable
