Schilos will always remind me of my dad. He was manager of the Walgreens a couple blocks away. He took me there alot growing up. He now frequents royalty coin across the street and I do too, we work together now and still stop in schilos when we're downtown for business. My wife now loves schilos too. Go and have a root beer, a deviled egg and some split pea soup sometime.

Oh man. I’ve been to the River Walk twice and never went there. Guess I’ll have to make the trip from Canada back to San Antonio one of these days. I would love to try homemade root beer and have thought about making my own.

Highly recommend the Root Beer 🍺🍺🍺🍺. It's served in ice cold mugs. Beyond delicious!!!!! It's nothing like canned root beer.

Bill Lyons is not pretending to be humble and easy going here. He really is a very humble and easy going Christian guy in real life. BTW, Schilo's isn't the only massive money making restaurant he owns on the riverwalk. In other words, he's filthy rich = exceedingly more impressive that he's such a great human being .
