Schindler 330A Hydraulic Elevator at Welcome Center Student Garage, U of H in Houston, TX.

Video Recorded on February 23, 2024: Last and final parking garage at University Of Houston with the glass elevators. There is one more garage here called the Elgin Parking Garage, but those aren’t glass and are new ThyssenKrupp elevators with fully stainless-steel cabs, so I did not film that one. Anyways, no wonder why they got modernized shortly after. Unlike both the East and Student Welcome Center parking garages, they only replaced the buttons with MAD BS type fixtures, but the rest of the entire panel are all original. This is right by the TDECU Stadium as you can see on your far left from inside the elevator cab out the glass window. Installed in 2012, modernized shortly in 2014.

I don’t know why they would modernize those Schindler elevators after they installed, but it still has the same motors.
