Wow! When an elevator vibrates like that, it's definitely the piston having seen better days. And just because the cab looks high-class doesn't mean the elevator runs smoothly. Those floor stops are so rough that even those light bulbs could even just come loose and fall to the floor with a crash, or someone could lose their balance and fall hard to the floor and even break their back or their neck. The floor indicator dinger sounds rather unique and IDK how many Schindler elevators had that dinger compared to many MTs whose dingers sound like from GM cars during the 90s.

This thing is bad, but I like the motor sound and chime. I found far worse a couple of days ago that did nothing but concern everyone. They supposedly go in every week to ""try to fix it"" and as we expect, Schindler HT.
