Schindler hydraulic freight elevator 4 - The Mall at University Town Center - Sarasota, FL

[Recorded 04/14/19 - This was taken during our April 2019 trip to Sarasota]
This is a basic stainless-steel padded Schindler freight with Innovation Bruiser a nice-sounding dry-powered motor. I don't get why they put wall-pads on a freight elevator. This has stainless-steel Peelle doors. Notice how the fire-service is on the 1st floor, but at least the inside "*" is on the "2" braille. The door-close alarm is annoying, sounds like a store burglary, or car alarm. There are 6 service corridor elevators here. This is the only freight. The other 5 are 330A service.

That motor sounded exactly like the former Saks Fifth Avenue at the Galleria Mall in Houston.

The door alarm sounds like an Emergency Exit was opened

I actually managed to get on this elevator. It is still the same as before and still has the dry powered motor. My luck, however, I was approached by security after I shot my video lol.

Did they question you? I think this is right near the office so that's probably why.

@@EWPA14 All they told me was not to go into the service corridors. They didn't say anything about filming. I think either they saw me leaving (because they were in there before I got in and I just waited til they left), or they saw me on the security camera.

It's just weird how they targeted you because you look like you would be a store employee & therefore they wouldn't care. Guess it was really bad luck or something.

Evan I think security guards go into the service Corredor‘s or anywhere near for freight elevators pretty much 40 or 50% of the time I’m guessing.

Sometimes, as often that's where the security office is. But what's weird is I saw 0 guards while I was here.
