I forgot how I freaking love your videos. You have such good picks and suggestions, there's so much variety. I'll probably go broke buying so much books because of you. Love your in-depth, getting into the pages, talking a lot about what it's about and whether you like this stuff or not. Happy Belated Birthday.....great books....The Batman run by Snyder and Capullo..probably the best ever....you should try some old school stories by Neal Adams...the art is phenomenal and the stories are pretty quirky!! I know what you mean by Alex & Ada's art, I haven't read that series, but I am reading the new series: Eternal Empire by the same team and I'm not a fan of the art, but I like story and world Sara Vaughn Creates in her writing. You should take a stab at Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic's Thor. I'll be damned if it isn't one of the most beautiful tales and beautiful almost painting like drawn comics I've read in the past two decades. I'd recommend first reading issues 1-11 as that is the span of the first complete storyline. It's either two volumes in the regular collection or a single volume if you get the big hardcover collection which has all 11 issues. I loved your video, and wish you a brisk recovery time. You seem quite amazing.

I'll definitely pick up Alex+Ada now that it's all collected in that nice edition. The writing is more important to me than the artwork to me anyway. I had my suspicions that you would adore Alex + Ada, and you just described everything I felt when I read book It's definitely one of my favourites stories. I will try Vei. Such gorgeous art! That book seems really good. If I may suggest you some books, they're THE DAMNED (Oni Press), BRIGGS LAND (Dark Horse) and some of the good books which AfterShock has been publishing, especially WORLD READER (still to come as trade) and ANIMOSITY. Thank you for sharing your experiences as a reader. It's always good to watch and know your reactions and opinions on the books.
