A 12" wide niche is hard to justify cost wise. Trying to sell a customer on a $500 or more upgrade when they can only put 3 shampoo bottles in it is going to be a tough sale.

LED lighting is still not reliable? What kind of crap are you installing or using? I've been installing LED lighting for years and, with a few exceptions, everything works wonderfully. Whether inside or outside and even in bathrooms I have no problems
