Identity V: Insanely Effective Kiting Strategies, Episode 2

As promised, here is my second episode in the series of kiting videos I wanted to put together for you. Please watch to the end if you hope to improve your kiting. Apparently, most loops are easily countered with Confined Space because of locking out windows, plus faster pallets destroy speed. Everytime a survivor pulls down a pallet, destroy it immediately. Real issue here in IDV is that there are too many options for survivors after leaving a loop, like running towards another loop with broken number of pallets, as if pallet stun isn’t punishing enough for hunters, plus Survivors Abilities to deal with. Of course, decode speed overall.

The factory is really powerful. Unless hunter is BQ or has blink it's impossible to catch up Trust me, I've used that to kite 3-5 ciphers multiple times and I also play both BQ and Geisha Great tip Shcimiddy, Love u :3

Can you make another video to kite in Leo's Memory map since they made a few changes in that map in the factory? Also at here 2:34 some hunters use blink and you gonna get hit, would you still stick to that boat or go somewhere else?

This is nice and all but in mid tier rank barely anyone use ripper instead hunters use bloody queen and feaster and just hit you before you can even make it to a pallet

Which is why you need to learn transitioning/juking. With a feaster, its easy to juke out his hitbox around walls due to its length.

The last pallet you said to always drop is technically wrong. That pallet has two windows you can use to loop the hunter with then tie in with the broken windows and knee jerk reflex hell even without those you can use that pallet and windows to loop killer depends ripper in his cloak form you can loop twice depending on how he handles the loop geisha probably a infinite because you can always get to the other side of the wall and remember there are two walls and two windows perfect loop don’t waste the pallet.

How to counter Geisha plzzzz

Easiest hunter to counter. 1.) Hug walls in high wall areas because she can't dash there. 2.) If not familiar with the area- don't bother moonwalking otherwise you will get stuck on walls or objects. Find an angle where you can see where you're going and somehow have a little look on her. Just predict when they'll dash and cancel it by pressing the button. 3.) Don't hesitate to tight kite her because she can't really dash and she's pretty slow. Biggest counters have to be perfumer, dancer (can tight kite well), seer (can get free owls off from simply moonwalking), magician, and basically all characters in the game except mechanic (has no booboos for kiting and is slow, mind's eye is a different story bc she can kite geisha easily).

Whalele, I do indeed admit I am no top hunter and my mindset may not represent every hunter you will meet in rank matches. But, I am 100 pct. sure that schmiddy knows what he is doing in his videos. As you may have seen in his previous video “Will I survive solo queue”, schmiddy actually manage to kite a top hunter around mini boat, where he did made the hunter leave him. If not, then I think you should see it and see how it actually can work. Furthermore, you should keep in mind that not every hunter is the same and the kiting situation you are put in may differ from time to time. So what may worked one time may not work the next time.
