I might have not understood correctly. The turret is one turn only with 15mrad. But the range is 43mrad. How does that work?

You type correctly - 43 MRAD is the inner range - the outer ballistic tower allows you to click 15 MRAD - in simplicity, it means that even if you mount the optics on a straight mount - you can use the full range of 15 MRAD up in any case after zeroing at 100m

This looks like a great scope. And agree with frogsgottalent, hunter should zero scope to preferred hunting range ie 100,200,300....and stalk target to that exact range. If range finder says 250y and scope is zero'd at 200y then get closer..simple. No stuffing around with BDC. This 700yd elk stuff is laughable unless you have zero'd scope to 700y with no wind and using precise handload. You can hunt with this scope and plink steel at 1000y with the tac style turret. The quality glass will enable you to spot misses. Best of both worlds.

Seems a bit extreme for a hunting scope. Too powerful, to heavy, to complicated.
