Man, that horn fits you like a glove. You should buy it before it gets sold!

If I had the money I definitely would. I think it will fit a lot of other players really well too!

Nice sounding Conn. How does it compare to the Lindberg 88H? Is the valve just as fast?

To be honest valves are not my area of expertise when it comes to the trombone. I find they all work for me pretty well so I might have Keith follow up with you on the valve. It definitely felt good with the horn though. As far as how they compare to me though they are quite different. This trombone feels much more open than the Lindberg to me which helps give it that rich sound. The Lindberg by comparison to is designed to be on the brighter side of Conn's instruments. I definitely think they are very different trombones. Let me know if you have any other questions.

its just the standard king rotor that's been used on gen2 conns. The bell on this horn is definitely a new mandrel and smaller in the stem compared to a conn 88h bell.

I've said this before: we need to know the mouthpiece being used; it has a major effect on the sound.

valve trombone in this style is available?

Unfortunately Conn does not offer a valve trombone at this time. However, it’s partners in the Conn-Selmer family, King and Bach, do offer valve trombones; if you have any questions about these options please let us know!
