@oxmountainman- This is just a demonstration of latching and unlatching. And ofcourse, i see the point why it's dangerous because, if we press both inputs - both Outputs will be ON (which should not happen). But you can consider that example in case you have a situation, where you want both outputs to be ON when both inputs are pressed (which again is a rare case). Thank you for pointing it out, i really appreciate you for that.

Thanks for the videos. I am trying to use 2 NC push buttons to latch an output on and off. Just like your latching Circuit example after the 4min mark. You do make a mention if contacts are NC and changing I7 to NO but that doesn't seem to work. Could you give me an example please. Kind regards

But latch means if electric is out the plc stores the data.. but the latch that you talked about it, it wasn't latch it was set and reset
