Dimash has said that his Lower register has improved greatly in the last few years. The bald man at the piano is world famous Russian composer / producer / entrepreneur and Billionaire Igor Krutoy. He wrote this song and came out of semi-retirement to work with Dimash. He has written many songs for Dimash including "Olimpico." This is one of my very favorite performances from Dimash. For me, personally, I would place this song second of two songs with so much expression vocally and in this one especially it was big splits in pitch in a split second. Since you seem to favor Dimash's lower (bass/baritone) registers, you will absolutely love his performance of "Ti Amo Cosi" w/ Russian soprano, Aida Garrifullina, & well known/regarded Belgian songstress, Lara Fabian. It was performed in Moscow as part of a celebration of the contemporary Russian composer & Dimash mentor, Igor Krutoy's long & extraordinary career. The trio's final sustained note is incomparable (in my humble opinion, anyway). Oh, & there's some beautiful figure skating going on, too.

I have a daughter Dimash's age that is gifted and a over achiever like Dimash. These children put so much pressure and stress on themselves to achieve perfection its unbelievable, and their drive...there is no stopping them. Without Dimash having strong support at home he would break down. Kudos to his loving parents for bringing this beautiful child in front of the world and sharing his gifts!

This song was composed by Igor Krutoy and initially written by Lara Fabian in French with the title Je T'Aime Encore. Then it was translated in Russian for Lara and had this english title Love of Tired Swans. She was thus the original performer of this russian version as well. And then Dimash made his cover.

Love of Tired Swans was previously recorded by one of Dimash’s inspirations - Lara Fabien - and was composed initially by Igor Krutoy as an instrumental piece before the lyrics were added. I agree with the depth of Dimash’s vocals before he reaches to the heavens! Although lava cake is admittedly delicious, I tend to prefer a bit of tartness and used to have my sister bake me homemade lemon meringue pie for my birthdays when I was young. :)

Adding: Dimash has performed several other Krutoy compositions, among them Love Is Like a Dream, Ogni Pietra, Passione, Know, Your Love, Ulisse, and Te Amo Cosi. Krutoy is both a classical and contemporary composer. He has the distinction of being the first classical composer in history to write songs for a singer who can perform credibly as a baritone, tenor, countertenor + reach whistle voice, with no weaknesses anywhere within his range. There is a reason opera parts are written for singers with distinguishable and much narrower ranges. *There were no singers like Dimash.* There still are not. He's in a class by himself.

This song was written by the man at the piano, Igor Krutoy. He published it originally as an instrumental titled "Blue Planet" (it is actually on the English Wikipedia page of Igor Krutoy). However, I don't know who added the lyrics and when that was done (perhaps for Dimash?). There is a very artistic music video for this song derived from the Russian legend that humans are angels with one wing cut off so they can only rise as a couple. Check it out and tell your opinion. Another good song to react to is Know, either the version with lyrics (New Wave 2019) or the purely vocalized version without any lyrics at the Arnau Tour concert in Kiev or in St. Petersburg, or in Moscow... there are countless versions. Or you pick one of both versions and present them both in same reaction video.

You must've noted how after that super high pitch he goes to a very low pitch and then immediately up again. All done in quick succession. He's a true master at work. Also, you're right. Dimash pays attention to every little detail of the songs he sings. I mean, to be able to transmit emotion, there must be like an intimate understanding of the lyrics, and to like live in that moment. This is what Lara Fabian does, and now Dimash.
