Schnitzel

A schnitzel is meat, usually thinned by pounding with a meat tenderizer, that is fried in some kind of oil or fat. The term is most commonly used to refer to meats coated with flour, beaten eggs and bread crumbs, and then fried, but some variants such as Walliser Schnitzel are not breaded. Originating in Austria, the breaded schnitzel is popular in many countries and made using either veal, mutton, chicken, beef, turkey, reindeer, or pork. It is very similar to the French dish escalope, and the milanesa of Uruguay and Argentina.

This song is actually from one of my favorite movies: Hoodwinked. It is a spin on Little Red Riding Hood, they turned it into a sort of crime scene investigation. A thief named The Goodie Bandit, went and stole the recipes from the different bakeries and such in the forest. It's a really good movie, once you get past the poor animation. I recommend giving it a watch. 8/10

I don't know what weird stuff they sell in Canada, but as a German I never saw, heard of or ate a Schnitzel on a stick. Schnitzel are plate-sized flat pieces of meat, often with breading. You eat them with knife and fork, or on a bun
