Ask anyone that grew up here and you might hear the term "Z"ero Beach. All a matter of perspective🤗

@@saskiafuller5298 we haven’t heard that term! What does Zero Beach refer to?
@saskiafuller52982 жыл бұрын
@@SchoandJo When you are growing up here (and think) there's nothing to do ,😉 I moved here 20 years ago, as my kids grew into teenagers, they referred to our little town as Zero Beach and we found out so did many generations before them. As I started working for the Marina ( this is "Z" from the office) I heard sailors call it Velcro Beach. It reminds me every day that most things really are a matter of perspective🤗 Love seeing your videos about our Marina and our town.

Hi Guys from the land down under. Almost want to sell up and move to the States to do this Great Loop. What a fantastic water way you have. Have been slowly working my way through your Vlogs and it's been fantastic watching you both grow with confidence with the boating. It brings back fond memories of when I purchased my first boat. I'm now on boat 4 and now looking at a Grand Banks. It's like a disease boating. Keep up the great Vlogs and I love your production and of course the Star of the show Ollie. Travel safe.

What a great day! Thanks for sharing it with us! I noticed that Jen saved the burger for last while Elliot made things come out more even. Not sure if that's normal, but I laughed because my wife makes things come out even, but I always eat my veggies first and save the meat for last. You guys are doing a tremendous job with your videos and I'm learning a ton just by watching them.

Hehe sounds like we are similar and have our quirks while eating 😁 Jen always saves the best bite for last so that's why today it was the burger haha. Thanks so much for watching and giving us a comment - means alot!

What a great place, well named. Glad to see Ollie enjoying the day on the little island and in the water, a natural I must say. Most dogs don't like baths but do like water play. Ollie is one great boating dog, and so fortunate he has loving and caring parents. Super video. Aloha!🌴🌴🌴

@BobEstler2 жыл бұрын
That was really well shot and edited. If you are working on teaching Olie to like the water or anything else someone once gave me some really good advice. Dogs are usually motivated by one of three things, food, love or toys, once you know what motivates them then you have all the incentive needed.
@SchoandJo2 жыл бұрын
Great points! Ollie is such a food motivated dog but we like to think she is also love motivated too... Cheers!
@BobEstler2 жыл бұрын
@@SchoandJo I have one dog that is toy motivated. He will pick the frisky (Frizzy) over food any day. the other dog is food motivated. To play Frisbee with Oscar I have to throw the toy for him and a pice of carrot for Frank. If frank doesn't get a carrot he takes the frisky "hostage". Once you understand what motivates your dog training becomes fun for everyone. For Ollie maybe find a food that will float and have her chase it out in the water.

Nice video. Are you a big fan of the electric outboard? Is it simple to recharge? Does it have enough oomph to power into a chop?
@SchoandJo2 жыл бұрын
We are definitely big fans of our outboard. It has been performing very well these past 8 months. It will make it through the chop but if you have 3kts of current against you, you won’t be breaking any speed barriers 😁 we charge it just by plugging it into our 120V outlet, super easy! Best to keep it topped up because from empty it will take 7-8 hrs to charge.

Don't let the dog drink that water. It's beautiful here but they just released data on the water safety and it had high E coli bacteria levels from sewage in the Indian River. Stay in Fort Pierce in the inlet so you get a good flow of clean water at high tide. Just a safety info note.

If your dog Ollie starts to enjoy playing and retrieving things from the water you need to be very concerned about him swallowing too much salt water which is very dangerous for a dog.

So question. Looks like hamburger. Haven't paid a lot of attention to what you eat, but notice a lot of plant based meals. Are you guys vegan/vegetarian? Made comment about you should try to catch fish on the cruise from Lauderdale to Stuart. Looks like hamburger tonight, but don't want to suggest meat if you don't eat it.
@SchoandJo2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking John! We are both vegetarians, the hamburger meat was beyond meat we grilled out with some garlic, salt, and pepper. We will rarely flex with seafood depending on the location if comes super recommended. Cheers!

BUT we do appreciate non-meat recommendations because our other viewers read though the comments and may decide on your recommendation! OR if we don't decide to eat / fish there, we can mention it to our viewers 😁 Cheers!
