UK Police Advice: Law on Locking Knives & Curved Swords in the UK (Offensive Weapons Act 2019)

Some advice to UK Police, but also for fencers, antique collectors, reenactors and other people affected, on UK laws relating to curved swords and locking knives. I am hearing more and more reported of the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 being misunderstood and poorly implemented, which is bad for the police, bad for citizens, bad for the civil service, and bad for the courts system.
