Scholar in India says covering head for men is Sunnah, why do Arabs cover head if its not Sunnah?

When the scholars of India say sunnah, they often mean sunnah zaidah/ mustahab because imitating the prophet in hope for reward is rewarding The prophet saw said who ever imitates a nation, he is from them 1. The proof that he used to wear a cap with out a turban in Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He had a turban [i.e., that which is wrapped around the head, as is the dress of ordinary people in some countries nowadays, such as Yemen and Sudan] that was called as-sahaab (“the cloud”), which he gave to ‘Ali. Under it he wore a cap (qalansuwah). Sometimes he wore the cap without the turban, and sometimes he wore the turban without the cap. When he put on the turban, he let the ends hang down between his shoulder blades, 2. He was never seen praying bareheaded. If he was then there would have been reports of it 3. Covering the had has always been the practice of the sahabah and pious predecessors. They would take it off in order to show humility as in the case of umar ra or if an innovative sect were recognized by wearing it as in the case of imam malik 4. The scholars of India never said it's wajib as the shaik described as " they wear it like a women ordered to cover her head" rather sunnah which is emphasized very much as a way to express our love for the sunnah and nabi saw 5. There are many other narration that reports nabi saw wearing different types of head coverings. Such as the qalansuwa, the turban, and burnus

shaykh, but what about *judaism and christianity* ?! particularly Jews have the same *sunnah* while prayering, they cover their heads with similiar hats and turbans! does it mean that its the *sunnah* of all prophets *to cover head at least in prayers* ?

Using any piece of cloth for covering head is a pratice originating from Hinduism and Sikhism. And our prophet Muhammad ﷺ ordered us not to follow the kuffar. If anyone sees any muslim doing this, please educate them about this practice.
