Hey Rasika! Thank's that you told us about cause deadline is ultra near but I think I will manage to do so but expect that in which scholarship do you apply and do every scholarship in BOSS is included in competitive scholarship

Thanks! I am glad it is helpful. Initially, I did not apply for any particular scholarship. I was automatically considered upon admission based on my profile. And not every scholarship on BOSS is a competitive scholarship. There is a list of competitive scholarships available for freshmen on the website (link in the description).

Hi. BOSS is not a scholarship, it is system through which you can apply for various scholarships. You need to check the respective deadlines for the scholarships you want to apply.

If you have already sent your transcripts and SAT scores at the time of acquiring admission, then you don't need to send it again for assured scholarships. For competitive scholarships, you might have to submit some additional items in BOSS.

Hey! Firstly, you can apply for either of those semesters. It is totally your choice. Usually students prefer to apply for fall or spring. For your second question, it doesn't matter whether you submit your application for admission before the "Firm Deadlines" or "Flexible Deadlines" because you will still have to apply for scholarships after getting admitted to the university.

For any technical difficulties, you need to contact the ITAC department on campus. The address for the office is available at the bottom of every undergraduate admissions page. It is right there.

I would definitely suggest you to try to apply for competitive scholarships. You need to submit the general scholarship application on the BOSS website, meet the Assured Admission standards, and then send the transcripts and test scores before the deadline. After this, you will find all the scholarships you are eligible for under "Recommended Scholarships" tab on the BOSS website. Then you might have to provide some additional materials based on those recommended scholarships. Also, if you are already a Texas State student, then definitely check out the iGrad website.
