Imma be real. We NEED dialogus novels. I would be falling over myself to read about the difficulties in hating the xenos, and understanding the culture and language of the xenos. If done well, it could leverage the loose ends and transitional periods between of story arcs and narratives of aliens of the galaxy. It even has the potential to elaborate on the history of the necron in a way that doesn't involve the overused tropes of the use of the weirdly anthropomorphisized human obsessed aliens.

I agree, I reckon it would be a really refreshing story if it focussed heavily on the whole investigative part of their lore. We already have far too many stories of bolter porn, would be nice for BL to explore some of these non-military parts of the setting.

I'm loving the new lore names , we have the gin stealers , ( pesky pub bandits) lemon rust ( just can't get good fruit nowadays) and the sororeetas are big booty mexican sisters ( order of the tequila shots)

Honestly you've no idea how many phonetic spellings I tried for the correct Sororitas pronunciation, but they each sounded worse than the last. Even going by the IPA, and CMU transcriptions only gave me pretty crappy results, so yeah unfortunately Sororitas seems to be a cursed word, so I'm stuck with the Mexican sisters pronunciation

From what I can tell, at least, it’s just the voice because the art doesn’t seem to be AI… only warp based or abstract concepts seem like they might be AI, the Black River from the Death Spectres for example… not bad in my opinion

Thank you! But yes the pronunciation on certain words is annoyingly difficult to overcome. I did try Sororitas with many different spelling variations, and tried it with IPA, and CMU phonetic spelling, but in each of those cases it just seemed to come out worse. I never like having to finish a project with mistakes as basic as the pronunciation, but unfortunately I just couldn't crack it for this one. There was one correct reading of it though, and I'll try to replicate that for future projects, but apologies for the mistake on this one.
