Now, 40 counts of child endangerment. He had no excuse to leave them there like that. A tablet not working is not an excuse to endanger children, he could have radio’d dispatch. He could have gone to a police, fire or hospital building. What he did was the absolute worst decision for elementary school children.

my question is didn't anyone vet that substitute bus driver? What the heck?! What person in their right mind leaves kids at an intersection? The least they could have done was drive to a school or a local park and call the parents of the kids with an explanation and wait till every one of those kids was picked up. Gross negligence!

I can't imagine how this driver was just fired. To my mind that was kidnapping, pure and simple. 40 counts. Lock him up for the rest of his life. My heart goes out to those kids and their parents. Suing him isn't good enough, I doubt he has the money to settle with the parents.

I know that Colorado is a soft state and doesn't do much to law breakers. However this is Not OK. Since this is very underage students it was a miracle none if those kids were killed!! You know that was Kidmapping when he would let the kids off at their stop! Also He deserves prison time, he kidnapped those kids, endangered their lives, left them in a extremely dangerous area where kids were running through traffic to get away from the area because they were terrified. I think this should be a federal charge. Also the School District should be liable for hiring a sub who is obviously not stable. There is NO FORGIVENESS FOR THIS!! I worked in HR at a large California School District and this is beyond any forgiveness. Prayers for all those Students and parents of the students. God Bless them all.

I think the law says the government has to give your kids an education it doesnt say anuthing about hauling them to school Get your lazy asses oit of bed and take them to school.
