This school helped me and other kids who came from bad neighborhoods and poverty and treated kids like family wow i cried when I heard Ferncreek closed down and became the complete opposite of what it is now wow I’m so thankful to have me my teachers mr Villegas mr and mrs Christian mrs Lewis mrs kennedy and mrs duckworth and everyone else thanks for making me the man I am today and helping me when I would have meltdowns as a kid and giving me reassurance

I started this school at 12 years old and to be honest the four years I spent at this school changed my life completely . I was able to graduate at 16 being the youngest in my class to graduate in magna cum laude and I was also chosen to be the valedictorian. Coming to this school allowed me to enter college and I am also the youngest in all my classes . The education taught at this school is unbelievable I am currently top of my math class at Valencia College.

Wow! I went to school here from 1975 to 1982, and my P.E. coach, Mr. Jones was still there all these years later @14:05 in the video!

I think that having a strong relationship with students helps with the behavioral issues Fern Creek was experiencing. I learned that as teachers we need to be prepared for behavioral issues but be more prepared on how to combat or handle them. I will try to use the STAR technique shown were you Stop Take a deep breath And Relax.
