My kids are up dressed and breakfast eaten before I'm even up. Even in school holidays they're up at 6am 🙈 they take after their dad as early risers where as I'm a night owl.

You are such lovely parents it was nice to see your husband with the little ones if he is anything like mine used to be ie he’s joking around didn’t get us anywhere but the kids loved it just like yours do giggling along with him there is nothing like hearing kids laughter is there . This is a great idea for children, I'll have to do it with my lot. I have two children going into year 2, a 20 month old and two 6 month olds (who will mean that it will take longer in the mornings!). Fingers crossed they'll agree to get up and practice for a school run and that I'll be able to steer my new buggy through the school gates haha

Our school have organised the morning arrival into 3 time slots (we're the middle one) children have been given set doors they are to enter and we've to drop them at the gate nearest that door.........of course my two are at gates/doors at two completely different ends of the school. Roll on next Thursday

I watch lots of pack lunches of the week video's when the kids start back because I always need new ideas (I don't know why I have asd kids I rarely try new things lol) our toothpastes were always too burny until we let him try colegate pro relief and it is pretty mild.

I used to lay their uniforms out in my room but my little ones would just get breakfast or toothpaste down themselves and I would be rushing back upstairs to get clean clothes. So now I lay it out in the living room (and sort out hair bobbles etc into a basket) and once they're fed and washed they get dressed so I have a production line rather than them fighting over the bathroom (they brush teeth in the downstairs bathroom once they've finished breakfast) and do hair as each kids is ready. I Do need to figure out how I can pop a bit of makeup on as well as I hate going to school with the kids all smart and myself a mess 😬 but. I'm due baby number 4 in Jan so that may just go out of the window.

The umbrella is a good idea. How long is your walk? Luckily we live at the school, but one road is closed, so our estate will be full of cars dropping off. I find it hard leaving the house into a crowd of people.
