It's hard to believe that I just learned just a few weeks ago about Jack Whitten's art, and now I've learned he has passed on. So happy that I made the discovery but as all true talents they leave us too soon. RIP Jack Whitten. Your paintings are alive to me.

It's amazing this Baba Lion was 89 when he gave this lecture and he looks/moves like someone 30+ years younger. Wish I could have met him!

He was 76. 26:27. Born Dec. 1939. This was made in 2016. Still good for his age.
