I got bullied when I was in primary school and high school. I joined the Australian army and my school had a 10 year anniversary which I was invited. We where asked to wear what we would wear at work I wore my service dress uniform. One of the bullies thought he would make fun of me and took my beret and threw it on the ground and stepped on it then laughed I hit him so hard that I broke his jaw in three places and made a mess with a few more punches. two of his mates had a go and i messed them up. when the police came they arrested the three bullies and charged them with assault. I was told that they received jail terms from a friend for assaulting a member of the Australian military by the magistrate.

Nice story. Reminded me of when I was 8. I was born in the millitary, dad apparently didn't notice I was a girl, at 6 he taught me to box. We moved and I started in a new school, my next door neighbor 12, decided I would make a great victim. I warned him to stop bothering me or he would be sorry. He laughed and decided to increase it. Since he was much bigger, I waited for him to get in the school bus, then went to where he was sitting and punched him in his nose, while telling him "I warned you". His mother called the POLICE. When they saw the bully (me) they started laughing and told him, "stay away from her she could break your nose again". I'll never forget that day. After, he became the victim, because people stoped being afraid. He ended up having to change school. Bullies like victims, until they become one.

I had a similar experience in school. I told the bully if we fight you will most likely win but I hold grudge. I said then leave me alone. It worked.

@@alanparedes2034Not necessarily. One of my kids was being routinely bullied and humiliated at school by the child of a high profile doctor in our town. One day out of desperation while the bully was sitting astride my son and slapping his face , my boy grabbed him by the hair and sunk his teeth into the bully’s nose, removing the tip. The bully’s parents jumped up and down demanding the police prosecute a 7 year old and the school expel him. The Principal of the school responded that their child was a renowned bully and reminded them that the school had spoken on several occasions to them about their child’s behaviour. They took their kid out of that school and lost their subsequent court case against myself and the school. Biting you may ask, but as they say “All is fair in love and war”.

But unknown to him, I was involved in Jui Jitsu training. He ended up spending the day in a local hospital for observation. But the next day an even larger guy picked a fight. I hit him once. Then told him, "I don't care how big you are. You're still going to get a$$ whipped. I'm tired of bullies!!". He backed off. I never was bullied again.

There was a bully in my school, he wasn't that big, but had several guys that were in his group, basically he got away with so much because he used the fear factor to run the place, everyone was so scared of what him and his friends would do to them no one would stand up to him! I was exactly the same as everyone else even though I was so angry with myself for letting him treat me so badly in front of everyone, then one day, I don't know exactly how it happened he told me he was going to fight me during lunch break, for some reason I just didn't care anymore, lunchtime came and I went out and he was waiting with only one of his friends, a big boy, bigger than both of us. Of course the usual circle of kids were there to watch him beat some other kid up again, still to this day I don't know what came over me, I kicked the big guy in the ball's as hard as I possibly could , he went down on the ground screaming in agony, then I looked at him and saw real fear in his face and that was it, I beat the absolute living shit out of him, round the playground three times, kicking him when he went down and punching him the rest of the time, it took three teachers to get me off him, I don't know what would have happened if they hadn't been there, it was like I was possessed. They called my parents in and told them what had happened, my dad, ex military just said "that's my boy" don't take shit from anyone! After that no one touched me, I think many may have been more scared of me than the bully, who never came seeking revenge, and his gang just looked at me and gave me respect, from then on if I saw them giving someone a hard time I would just walk over and say , leave them alone, and they would, eventually the bullying gang broke up and school life was a lot easier! I never had another fight at school after that.

Bullies are what triggered school shootings. Those shooters usually shot themselves afterwards or chose death by cop. When school shootings began, the news media covered up the truth and refused to inform the public that the student shooters were bullied constantly, beaten, extorted, ridiculed and harassed by the bullies, and in each case school officials sided with the bullie. Their parents were usually wealthy and influence. So, young terrorized victims were further abused by the top staff of the school and saw no way out but to kill their abusers and commit self destruction. But, truth doesn't sell the papers. So the media lied and said the shooters were evil monsters from bad homes. Today, we have solid evidence that Satanic evil runs rampant The schools and libraries fully support sicko alphabets and and encourages twisted thinking and child mutilation and sex. All signs of Satan. So supporting bullying is right in there.

I'm not a big guy, only 140lbs at 36 (after an illness), so I was probably 90-100 in 6th grade... first fight was in the locker room before P.E... this is just lived to screw with me. I broke my arm punching him in the chest. He later complimented me for hitting him so hard, and we never had a problem after. After that, it was random jerkoffs who thought I was an easy target, but by then I'd started wearing work boots with steel toes and hard rubber soles; didn't take long for me to drop a couple of people who grabbed me or threatened me. Felt bad when my friend bear hugged me from behind and I nailed him with the heel of my boot and dropped him to the floor 😂 Bullies are cowards, and they'll prey on whoever they can that won't or can't fight back.

I was an athlete from 4th grade on. Most of my friends were non athletic. I made it a point to stand shoulder to shoulder with the non athletic kids who got picked on. I only needed to suggest one time that if you want a fight them you first have to fight me. They never chose to pick on them again. Because I was a outstanding athlete... most all other athletes in my schools took the same approach and stood shoulder to shoulder with the more fragile students. I think this was one of the reasons my schools had tremendous student body spirit and classmates remained friends long after graduations, marriages, children, etc etc. It doesn't take a lot to change dynamics but it does take a willingness to take a stand.

I grew up in poverty, went to school as one of only 3 white kids, in an all black school. I was blonde, blue eyed and all of 5'4" maybe 120 lbs. I was picked on relentlessly, beaten with a stool leg, coming out of wood shop. It was a nightmare!! As time passed, I developed a late growth spurt and shot up to 6'2". I also hit the gym and probably doubled my 8th grade weight. The worst of the bullies from school, was a real punk. Ugly thug, made my life absolute hell. Well in my early 20s, he was approaching me on the sidewalk. Honestly, I felt like pounding him into the ground but as he approached he went way out of his way to avoid me. I got the feeling that someone really beat his butt at some point because he looked scared to walk by me.

I have had 73 years of bullying. The ex wife did a job on me that made Psycho seem like a Sunday School picnic. Others gaslighted me, humiliated me, sabotaged property, drove me out of my place of living blah, blah, blah. Well, it's a bit late, but now that I've had time to reflect, and get fit via weight training on a fairly serious w/o routine three days a week. Put on some 'intresting' muscle. I always try to be courteous, and respectful to whoever. Should any SOB 'ever' want to insult, intimidate, or 'bully' me; one of us will need an ambulance and intesive care to get their head out of their arse! It might be me, but the other dude will always remember the volcano he jumped into that day!

I asked him to please leave me alone and he of course refused. We put our dukes up and since my dad had taught me to box punched him right in the nose. Blood started flowing along with tears. I then realized we were 25 feet from the office/ nurse. He never bothered me again. I was bullied in junior high and high school. I got in a fair number of fights because of that and lost most of them, but not one of those bullies ever bullied me again. When I did finally fight back, I went all out and attempted to destroy my opponent. I never pulled my punches because it might have been fun for the bully to fight, but it wasn't for me. One guy I fought finished the fight with ten finger-sized bruises on his throat because I was literally strangling him until several other students pulled me off him. Curiously, I didn't get bullied again that year.

When I was in 6th grade, I was bullied practically daily by a group of older kids the whole year. It wasn't until I had an epiphany early in 7th grade(after a major growth spurt that Summer) that I was 6'2", 200lbs and waaaay bigger than the other older kids...After knocking out my main bully with a headbutt one day he poured mustard into my book bag and threatened to hurt me, I realized these bullies fed off of reactions and FEAR. Once they lost that they were powerless. I learned kickboxing after that and only had 1 more problem freshman yr of high school. Bully broke nose by sucker punching me, trying to start a fight..He got his wish, I broke 2 of his ribs and never had another problem with them again. Almost 35yrs later the confidence I gained still helps me to this day. Lesson is, Thai Kickboxing is effective but words and de-escalation are ultimately the best means of resolution & most fights can be avoided. And if they can't...🤘

Actually had to go to school for a return to school after suspension meeting. The school called it a fight and I thought it was but other parents let me know the truth. I believe 4th grade and my step son was actually fighting the school bully. This young kid had been involved in many fights and never addressed as a bully. My wife spoke little English at the time so I did the talking and I had disdain for teachers and principals because of my years in school. I wanted to know why this wasn't a bully situation because of many fights before. This young kid had parents that were to important to be real parents and it was obvious. The principal had an attitude towards me and said nothing to his parents. My wife was confused because I was talking to fast but my stepson knew what was happening. I finally stood up and looked at principle and said to my stepson " if you see a bully doing something to another kid then you can beat the F out of them." I then took my wife's hand and excused us and left. Left my stepson there and told wife in car. When my stepson came home we talked and I always had talks about issues. I told SS that his next birthday party the bully will be invited and I believe his home life is not like ours. I also always took him and sister to school just like I did my bio kids and talked to bully. I just apologized and told him be nice and kids will see you different. He became my sson good friend up till graduation. I see how schools go crazy over certain things but never address bullying and it's worse than other issues. When my ss graduated I was shown a video clip of a loudmouth punk getting ko by 1 punch. He had ripped another student off and I knew all about this punk kid. He and his mom were living free in my brothers apartment while they were being evicted for a year. They were making all types of problems and were behind over a year in rent. Ss knew nothing about that but karma was nice. My bio son was 20yrs older than stepson and they both stood up for others with out being told. We lived a mellow lifestyle so violence was not something they witnessed at home just respect for others

When I was a kid I kept getting bullied and harassed by this guy. A tough guy in the school that bullied everyone. He already knew martial arts I think. His favorite move was giving a roundhouse kick to the stomach. Anyway, he wasn't the only one that bullied me. My dad finally got sick of me coming home with a bleeding nose or losing my bike from some thug that knocked me off my bike and stealing. He was train in karate. So he trained me daily for about six months straight. I got stronger from push ups and sit ups and punching and kicking and squats and jogging. The nest year in school I was a little bit more confident coz my dad sparred with me too and gave scenarios of fighting and self defense. It was one of the most valuable gifts he had ever given me. So yes, the time did come when this person then tries to harass me. At first, I just gave him a stern look. Like I don't care. Then the day came and tried to corner me and humiliate me in front of a bunch of people who some were on his side. "All right. Let's do this". I didn't hesitate. I went berserker mode on him. Just uncontrolled kicking and punching. I didn't even care where they landed. I just wanted to go on the offensive and eventually to his surprise he took a lot of hits to the face and body and legs. He just gave up stood up looking at me. We're both breathing hard but he had tears in his eyes. Everyone broke us up including teachers. Gues who was on my side at the end of it? The teachers did not reprimand me but suspended him for 1 week. They just told my parents what happened but they almost smiled at me like. "Good job!" That guy was a pain in the ass to teachers too. So when it happened, it was like the teachers thanking me. Was I ever bullied again? Some people still tried but for the most part I was a happier kid knowing I could at least throw some kicks and punches if I needed to. Sorry about the long story. But this did bring back a lot of memories. I need to know the title of the movie though. What is it?

I was bullied in the workplace. The bully happened to be sleeping with the deputy director, and was also manipulative enough to have control over the head of human resources. Bullying isn't always in the school yard, and it doesn't always involve aggressive young males or physical violence. In this instance it was a female in her late 50s who seemed to enjoy the idea that she could put people on the breadline. She had already caused someone to have a nervous breakdown and leave her job. The person who had the nervous breakdown never recovered, and slid into dementia. The senior management did nothing about it. That was a quarter of a century ago. The last I heard was that the bully is in a care home with senile dementia, and the erstwhile deputy director developed bladder cancer. I think the head of human resources went off and spawned in a pond somewhere. Ho, hum...

I grew up in a tough neighborhood in Brooklyn in the 80’s. While I was never one to be bullied, I never started fights, but also never backed down, but I’d usually lose the fight. The older kids that hung out in the schoolyard across the street from my building were a lot tougher than me, and they didn’t like me because I never backed down but they knew they could take me. My grandfather was into boxing, he lived a couple blocks away, and he started teaching me how to fight, bought me a punching bag and boxing gloves and everything. Eventually I started kicking a$$, until one day, I guess because they couldn’t take me one on one so easily anymore, one day 3 of them jumped me. They beat the ever loving sh!t outta me. I came running up stairs into the house crying and all beat up and my father asked what happened. I told him 3 of them jumped me. He was like “Wait, do you me all of them beat you up at the same time?”. When I told him yeah, he yelled at me to stop crying, grabbed me by my collar and dragged me down the stairs and across the street. The whole time I was begging my father “No! No! You’re gonna make it worse!” Cuz I thought he was yell at them for beating up his precious boy or something, but he went in there in the school and told all the kids to get against the wall with their backs to wall. Then he told me to point out which 3 jumped me. I did, and he told all the other kids to get lost, and he told those 3 “You all jumped by boy at the same time!? Now you’re each gonna fight him one on one!🫵😠”. My father ask me which one do want first, and I don’t remember if I even answered, I remember just running at the one who always started it and kicking him in the stomach and then wailing on him. We fought, I got the better of him, and my father really did make me fight all 3 of em, one after the other, after already taking a beating before it all. And I held my own. They never bothered me again after that. There’s nothing like the feeling you get from standing up to a bully.

I worked with teens for years. Every single bully came from a home where he or she was taught the art of being an asshole by an adult -- typically an older brother, father or grandfather. Bullies are made, not born. It's passed down through generations and tarnishes every relationship the bully will ever have. A bully is a child who has no other way of dealing with people than physically or verbally assaulting them. The parent who tolerates a bully is allowing child abuse!! Children who are bullies should be temporarily removed from the family and put in foster care where they can see how normal people create caring relationships.

I am not a trained fighter, but I think I have a strategy that can work for anyone. I have a philosophy about fighting that can give an advantage to anyone. First of all, all fighting is dirty business. Since all fighting is dirty business, then there is no such thing as a "fair fight" !!!! My rule is; NEVER pick a fight. ALWAYS be humble in your character and act in self-defense. Those are my 2 most important rules of morality. Beyond this, I will do anything to hurt my aggressor BADLY!!!!. on the first strike. The first strike is always the most important. I want to hurt my aggressor so bad on the first strike that it will handicap his ability to fight back. I want the guy to be debilitated...QUICKLY! I am not beyond kicking a guy in the balls of throwing dirt, mud etc.... in his eyes/ face. Once my aggressor is too handicapped to fight I have the advantage to continue beating snot out of the guy !!! Just remember, the more time you spend in the fight the greater your odds are of getting hurt!! Make the fight end as quickly as possible by ending the aggressive behavior. Master your fear. Do not fear let rule you. Fear is a paralyzing emotion.

I like your theory and it worked for me once. Two upper class bullies had me against the wall and I learned anger can take control. I broke ones nose with a head bunt and fought hard with the other, not sure who won but the bullying stopped. It probably helped when my older brother had his way with the one still able to fight.

I was severely bullied as a child and it was hilarious when I got my growth spurt near high school and could fight back. I am a pacifist that believes bullies are cowards and are usually have inadequacy issues Violence is never a good thing. Even with the changes in schools about it, there are still bullies in schools. I wish no bad things on anyone, though I witnessed karma on one of the worst bullies I had as a kid. One thing that disgusted me growing up was how the school system pushed bullies who only were present for lunch on to graduate with the mindset of society dealing with them.

@@geo386 So you would agree with me that sometimes violence IS the solution? So some good CAN come from violence? Because I don't believe a person should commit violence against innocent people but if necessary I will become very violent in defense of myself or others. I would kill if necessary. And that would be good. I know my sister claims to be a pacifist but a lot of that is virtue signaling. Like she's above commiting violence. But when it comes down to it she would and has committed violence when necessary. Maybe I don't know what you mean by pacifist. Thanks commenting.

This is just been something that’s happened through the decades of just being a kid yeah they were some kids that got bullied but there are some of them that fight back. I tell my son it’s not if you win the fight it’s if you fight because a bully is looking for a victim he’s not looking for somebody to fight back. And once you fight back the bully will realize it’s not worth it. And that goes throughout the world when you have nations like when Germany was going around the world with the Nazis and the world stood up to them and said no.

I was bullied off and on all through highschool. I learned how to box years later and it's the best thing that ever happened to me. After over 76 fights and numerous champions won, my self confidence went through the roof. I've taught numerous fighters that art of boxing and many have won tournaments themselves. It's been a life lesson and I spent my best years doing something that was so rewarding as being a winner and a regional champion in boxing!

AS THE MOM OF A YOUNG MAN WHO FINALLY FOUGHT BACK AND BEAT OFF HIS ATTACKERS, I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE SCHOOL SYSTEM WILL TREAT THE ONE WHO DEFENDS HIMSELF AS A CRIMINAL AND MAKE HIS LIFE A MISERY. Where we live the school board had a rule called the Second man in rule where thye punish the one who defends himself, while leaving the bully (s) to go on on as before!

A bigger boy in my neighborhood bullied me but he moved away after his dad died. Then in high school I was bullied again so I quit the wrestling team and joined the weight lifting group. With muscles bulging 1 and 1/2 years later in college there across from me at a lab table sat the neighborhood billy. When I told him who I was he pushed back and said that was a long time ago. He became my best friend as we took classes😅 together and studied together. Make your bully your best friend.

Grew up in a small town where there was a bully in our eight grade class. He was always wanting to beat up on me and sometimes he instigated others to gang up on me. Many years later I returned to see some of my old friends still living in this town only to find out that the bully, who everyone feared back then, came out eventually as gay. I guess now I know why he always had this thing for me.

Well this feel-good clip is a bunch of bull. Most larger USA schools would not allow such a fight to happen if were rumored widely enough to get around to draw a crowd. If it did or happened spontaneously both would be suspended. Many years ago when I was in school yes fights happened all the time. Now days you get a lawyer and sue the bullies family and the school and press criminal charges. Crazy how things change.

Well, if you restrain your kid from fighting back, he/she calls the PD and YOU go to the can. That leaves you with two choices: let your kid get Bullied until he/she feels like there is one way to stop it. You certainly don't want that to happen. OR; You hire a tutor, ot send your kid to a private school. Better get a 2nd full time job if either of the latter is selected. Or send your kids to take Karate lessons.
