One of the most sadly ignored and underrated movies of Walken's and Fishburne's careers. People shout up and down about how "great" New Jack $hitty was, but it stank like poo poo. Mario Van Peebles can't direct, and NO ONE in the movie could act - except for Chris Rock. I still watch the movie because it's hilarious in it's ineptitude. Wesley Snipes made a pretty good jump up the ladder with this one. King of New York is right up there with Bad Lieutenant, Romeo is Bleeding, Light Sleeper, etc. GOOD crime dramas that didn't beat the crap out of the box office, but that's why I like 'em!
