I heard a little edge of Aretha, or maybe Tina in that voice. I got the feeling she was "coasting", to keep the attention to the whole tune, rather than belting it out. Perfect. Exactly in keeping with the original.

Classic ideas, real r&r guitar. She plays phrases that sort of are like talking, like saying things in sentences. Just very controlled but intense; nice. In time this might really evolve into something pretty special.

I have heard a lot of remakes of this great hit by Otis Redding and I have to say this is my favorite remake. The vocals were superb and the three guitarist were all smoking hot with their licks. The bass and drummer kept it all together with the guitar solos. I listen to this 3-4 times a week. Outstanding job.

I could listen to these girls all day long. They both have such great voices, and the guitar solos were awesome. I was wondering how the song could run 11 minutes; turns out it is because of all sorts of great surprises! This particular group is, by far, THE BEST School of Rock performers. Incidentally, if you have not listened to their version of Midnight Train to Georgia, check to out. Eleanor has another solid performance.

The bottom end is perfect. This is a difficult song to hold onto. Hard for drums to keep back the desire to fill. Bass is doing a great job, by first, driving the vocals by setting a comfortable place for the lead vocal girls not to strain to carry the song and, then, widening the field for the six-string players. Guitar breaks are finely held in the mix. Great job!

WOW! Better than I expected! I must be older than most people here. I remember when the original was released in 1967, the year after I graduated from high school, by Gladys Knight & the Pips. Marvin Gaye did his cover a year later in '68. John Fogerty and CCR finally got the bug and released their unique cover in 1970, the year I went to Vietnam - but that didn't stop me from enjoying CCRs version! Now I can listen to, and enjoy, THIS version!

My favorite "younger generation" vocalist for the last 2 1/2 years is 16 year old Angelina Jordan. Her audition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" on America's Got Talent when she was 13 years old got me started down that rabbit hole, going back to her winning Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 years old, auditioning at 7 years old with an outstanding cover of Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday." I really appreciated how the differences between the two lead singers highlighted each other, smooth like butter and down and dirty playing off each other.
