i love sf uomo casual life as a dumb reach, so refreshing and i know i will never get tired of it!!!! folks says the performance is low but thats not true at all, its about how u apply it and if it gets along with ur skin!! easily still get whiffs of it at the 6 hour mark (during a work shift). sprayed 3-5x on a shirt and left it hanging up on my door and i still smelled it a few days later

Ganymede is great but it is indeed polarizing. In as much as the ozonic/mineralic notes are the best, the immortelle and saffron make this a little challenging especially to people who just enjoy easy to like scents

Curious to know what you would rate these fragrances 1-10 on Mass Appeal alone. In particular, I've been wanting Afnan Supremacy Collector's edition but I'm curious if it might smell too invasive or too masculine in the air example: - allure homme sport or acqua di gio profondo which could easily be a 9-10/10 as it would be hard to find people who dislike the fragrance. versus - Tom Ford tom ford tobacco vanille, which would rank like 5-6/10 imo. Fragrance community would rate it much higher, but mass appealwise, I don't think would do so well. Just a video idea!

I tried Encelade and I thought sandalwood would dominate but smells vegetal for some reason maybe due to Rhubarb. Similarly Acqua di Parma Sandalo smell like classic fougere rather than a sandalwood fragrance..

I want to love Ganymede but the magazine pages smell is just not appealing, but in the air its absolutely stunning. I had a blotter in my closet and I kept falling in love with the fragrance, but upclose as Omar mentioned its really... magazines at the dental office metallic smelling. I love that someone is defending Fahrenheit. You will not smell like anyone today in this oud/middle eastern and blue trend were all stuck in.

Interesting to see Ganymede here. It's definitely a unique one, and probably is a masterpiece in terms of its composition. I just don't know if it's mass appealing enough to be an everyday fragrance. To me it's more of a change of pace fragrance.

These aren’t necessarily trying to be mass appealing but I think Ganymede can be surprising in this sense, as I mentioned with my compliment story, but yes I do think its a signature you need to know ‘how to pull off’.

@@nelson4869 I tried Ganymede, I own Bois Imperial and Lattafa Masa... and in my very humble opinion the most "mass appealing" is the latter. Slightly sweeter than Ganymede and less metallic. One to sample!

Maybe up close it can seem challenging to the average nose, but as Omar has said several times, in the air it's another story. Ganymede has gotten me tons of compliments, what you're basically smelling in the air is a fresh metallic semi sweet scent. Surprisingly clean and airy while still holding on for hours on end
