Carlisle, Parton and Whitehaven 16 05 24

Northern Belle's "Royal Yacht Britannia" was due to pass through Carlisle twice today - 10.20 and 19.40 - a long gap in between appearances, so how was I to pass the time? Well - how about some healthy exercise, scenery - and even some rail travel.
It was a long day - but even longer the following day editing the material.
A note about the sound-track. My edited version has a subdued (almost silent in places) music background to the aerial sequences - I have played the original version back on four different video players - all are as I edited it. For some unknown reason KZbin seem to grossly increase the volume of the music whilst not affecting the rest of the sound track. Am I alone in experiencing this?

Some nice views Tim despite the weather. Interesting that the only tracks you found on the top were from the Micklam Brickworks where it ran to the clay mine. Oh and I found the sound louder than expect throughout

If I hadn't gone for the Cumbrian coast I'd toyed with Lockerbie in the evening. It would have made for a shorter day!
