a great introduction to this so 'typical' Bach piece and so very well explained. I'm not an organ player but it all makes perfect sense. Thank You! I eat this stuff with a spoon! The pipe organ is one the great achievements of civilization. Essentially, the organ and the gigantic space it inhabits are one instrument.

Wer (ausser Bach) könnte denn diese Stücke geschrieben haben, die Bach später in einer Trio-Besetzung auf der Orgel zusammengefasst hätte…. ich wüsste niemand …
