Honestly, I feel it's a cheap trick not to allow the GH5 batteries to go in S5 even. Why not? But I agree the "fit in the camera, but not the camera's charger" is the real hit indeed :P

Thank you for this video. Spent the best part of the last 20 minutes trying to figure out if the original GH5 battery I purchased wasn’t a knock off as it wouldn’t fit in my GH5 charger… now that means I either need to buy another charger and carry multiple ones when travelling..

True. The "reveiwers" don't talk about them. It would have been good to be able to use the same charger. But its not a big deal.

Video much appreciated - these are the “little things” everybody happily goes hush-hush about… “KZbinrs”, photography magazines… even forums… And… what a title! I completely agree and for me these to most futile things are thing I remember when I need to chose between several brands. Brands that screw me over are at a disadvantage. Thx for showing us how terrible Panasonic is caring for its customers.

Fits in my charger just fine.. it depends on what type of charger you have
