Good point Lunix should have some smaller FF primes in their roadmap. Until they do that the sigma contemporary L mount primes are the smallest.

When Canon has a 28mm f2.8 which is just little bit thicker- this lens is a sad joke!

I would call this a fun lens if it was under $120. $200 is inexcusable when certain toy lenses perform better at a cheaper price.

For $200 this is a joke. They should have bundled it for free with the S9. Or made a proper AF lens with f/2.8 like the pancakes from Canon and Nikon.

An interesting body cap lens. For the price I think it should have filter thread for caps etc. Body cap lenses like the Olympus Mu-43 one have a focus stop for close up which is nice. For the price of this lens in Australia I think focus stops should be a must.

Cuando pongo ''on'' para poder prenderla, la luz verde titila un montón de tiempo hasta que me deja sacar fotos, luego, para poder ver las imagenes que saqué (Que tendré no mucho mas de 100) la luz está bastante tiempo titilando, no me deja pasar las fotos (como que se traba) hasta que se apaga por completo la cámara. This is a great lense. I had a ceremony last week and the guess were about 60 to 70 yards away. Everyone was taking photos with their phones i had this lense and i was able to caputed the beat shots

The STM version is for those who use the longer focal lengths only outside in good light. If you need so shoot I'm inside events like concerts and want to pick details then the L version is what to choose. If you have a crop DSLR with typical 18-55 mm and then the STM version is all around 1 stop faster.

I’m going to say this… it is a tool. When someone sees your work; they are not going to say… this was shot on a “whatever”lens. They are judging on the story your image is telling and style; never the equipment! JMT… Keep creating art!

Perfect for making videos "which do not need to have TV broadcast quality..." Pardon my ignorance, but didn't he just rave about the super quality of videos made with this camera? So what does it take to get TV broadcast quality? Also, he intimated that this was an expensive camera (bearing in mind that this video was uploaded six years ago), but he never actually mentioned the price.

Nice test Its only in ISO 100 right? But from what Ive seen in DXO, the 80D and 6D Dynamic range become basically the same befor ISO 400 and gets better than the 80D at ISO 800 and above. And that is usually how I use it for events. But its only the theory. I would like to see the reality.

Seems like the EF one is overall better, aside from needing the adapter and being slightly bulkier. Guess I'm keeping my EF then because it also means I can still use it on EOS film cameras and adapt it to my Canon M6. Hopefully we see a MkII of the RF version at some point because it would be nice to get a native lens, or maybe I'll be able to afford an L version if it comes out 🤞

The flash stop working... i almost get crazy: is the silent mode. If is on the flash dont work.
